Upon arrival into Casablanca, we will visit the famous Hassan 2 Mosque. Exterior appreciation only. We will then drive to the capital city of Morocco, Rabat. Also one of the country's four imperial cities. Visit the Hassan Tower, which was intended to be finished as the tallest minaret and mosque in the world in the 12th century. However, the construction was stopped after the sultan died. Just across the unfinished ruins stands the striking Mausoleum of Mohammed V. We continued to Asilah overnight.
After breakfast we will drive to the hill city of Abd Salam where the zaouia of the great Sufi master Ibn Mashish is located. Have lunch here and we drive to Chefchaouen for overnight Note :- 1. As this is located in the area of Jabal Aman, the weather can be unpredictable. As all seekers it is best to observe kindness and a pure mind for the success of this tour. We as Tour Operators encourage all visitors to spend good time here. As this zaouia is an open concept please dress appropriately and have protection for the head. Umbrella is essential for rain and sun. The surrounding hilly area of the zaouia is full of meditation caves and a place where the angels used to come and sing. This area needs a bit of trekking up the hill. So far Morocco2u tour to this area has been blessed with good and cooling weather. Everything is smooth as silk. But for all spiritual seekers, it is very much depending on the group spirit. This is not a place for leisure tourism. 2. Chefchaouen has only one 4 star hotel and to make a booking one needs to make a full payment 12 months before your arrival. As such we stay in local built accommodation and non standardized room type. Customers need to understand this to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding. Today we will explore this tiny city, known as Morocco "blue pearl" or the blue city resting under the Rif mountain. The cool beauty of all the hue blue and white calm our soul as we walk and climb on the cobble narrow alley. The Berber’s tribe people can be seen wearing cotton clothing with hats of bright decorated thread. After lunch we will continue to Fes
In the morning we will walk about in this Rif Mountain little blue village and then we will drive to Fes is the largest pedestrian city in the world. Built in the 9th century, it brings each visitor the sense of going back in time. With its olden architecture, narrow donkey pathway and horse and cart, you witness a piece of history suspended in time. Upon arrival at Fes we will visit the Royal Palace before proceeding to the main entrance of the medina, Bab Boujloud also known as the blue gate (the most famous gate in Morocco). Roaming through the winding and narrow streets to find for the world oldest and continually operating university – al-Qarawiyyin Mosque; admire the beautiful Marinid architecture – Madrasa Bou Inania, Nejjarine Wooden & Craft Museum and the largest and best-known tannery in the heart of the souk - Chouara Tannery.
After breakfast we will continue our journey to the Sahara Desert. Enroute we will stop at the famous Swiss influence resort-town, Ifrane. Also the only town in Morocco experiences snow during winter. Famous for its pine tree, ski slope and relaxing cafe for a weekend getaway. The stone sculpture is a well-known landmark, carved by a German soldier during WWII (or according to the local legend is to commemorate the last wild Atlas lion) Nevertheless, having your picture taken with the lion is something of a ritual for visitors. Upon arrival we will check into the Sand Dunes hotels. Relaxing and as the evening approaches, we will ride a camel. Dinner at the hotel to experience staying in this magical Sahara Desert.
Enjoy a beautiful Sahara Desert sunrise and followed by a delicious Berber's breakfast, we will then drive to Todra Gorge, the majestic rocky mountain that has been halved by the flowing Todra river. We will walk along the river for one of the most dramatic views in the country and feel the amazing height of the gorge. We will stop for lunch in the gorge area with a view of the beautiful valley. We will continue our journey and stop at the Rose Valley. Roses grow wild during the summer month. We then continue to the Unesco World Heritage Site of Kasbah Ait Haddou. Overnight in Ouarzazate
We take another little road to see the Kasbah of Telouet. We enjoy the spectacular scenic road of the Ounila valley where remote villages nestle along the valley. After that we continue via the Tizi N’tichka Pass and stop at the Women Co-Operative of Argan Oil to understand all about Argan Fruits and its oil. We will reach Marrakech and overnight in Marrakech
Marrakesh is a former imperial city of Morocco and its medina was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage. It was known as the red city because of its buildings and ramparts of beaten clay. After breakfast, we will visit the beautiful Le Jardin Secret garden. We will then visit the ancient medina. Roam around the old souk and check out the craftsmen. Take a photo with the landmark of the city, Koutoubia Mosque and the monument of 7 saints. In the evening, wander around the largest traditional market Jemaa El Fna when the squares are filled up with food stands, fortune tellers, musicians, artists, etc. Note:- 1. For Sufi tour, we will also visit the Zaouia of Sidi Yousef Ben Ali, Sidi Abdel Aziz or Sidi Sulaiman Al Jazuli. Do let me know your intention.
After breakfast, transfer to Casablanca for your flight home with beautiful memories of Morocco
